About Aios Medical
Our overarching mission is to accelerate the mass-market global adoption of consumer biotech products so every human can live at least 100 healthy years.
Our immediate focus is excess bodyweight. We are increasing the global accessibility of GLP-1 medications to accelerate their take-up to help solve obesity worldwide.
To do that, we’re building an AI-powered clinical operating system: ClinicOS. ClinicOS makes it effortless for consumer brands to easily offer direct-to-patient healthcare, globally. We work with external Brand Partners, as well as using this infrastructure to scale our own internal consumer healthcare brands.
Since we launched Fella Health in the US in June 2021, Fella has positioned itself as no-nonsense weight loss for busy bigger guys. Today, we operate multiple brands across the US & UK — our two biggest are Fella Health (US & UK) & Bolt Pharmacy (UK).
Our infrastructure will have served 100 million patients worldwide by 2035. We’ll then use that direct-to-patient infrastructure to serve next-gen biotech products at-scale to increase the proportion of humans living at least 100 healthy years.
In so doing, we’ll become the world’s first trillion dollar healthcare company.
How far along are we?
We’ve grown >1000x since Aug 2021, >200x since Aug 2022, >40x since Aug 2023. We’re serving >20k customers with high NPS. We’re >$50M/yr revenue. We’ve been cashflow positive for >24mo.
We’re a young startup and we’re just getting started. This is still Day 1 and all our work is ahead of us.
We're backed by top healthcare & consumer investors:
Y Combinator
Global Founders Capital — backed Facebook, Slack, LinkedIn, Revolut, Rocket Internet
AngelList Early Stage Fund (backed by Naval Ravikant)
BrandProject (venture-builder behind 2 unicorns)

The opportunity as Chief of Staff
Fella is building a world-class team.
As Chief of Staff at Fella Health, you’ll help me run a great company 🙂
You’ll oversee internal operations to ensure our company is running smoothly on a tight internal operating system. You’ll manage my focus to ensure we’re pointing in the right direction with my time. You’ll spearhead special projects, leading what needs to be led and helping where help is needed.
You’ll take on tasks, projects and whole areas of the company. Your workflow will be to take on a problem, solve the problem, then build a system for the future. This role drastically scales up CEO time.
This is a senior role. You’ll have full, unfettered access to all the information I have as CEO. We’ll walk in lockstep.
Great performance in the role means we can scale to be serving 1 million fellas by the end of 2026. In so doing, you’ll be on track to own a large area of the company in the coming years.
This is the single best training to become a CEO, founder, or department head. If you nail the role, you’ll be a top candidate for our future COO hire.
This is a full-time, fully remote role, and you’ll work in the US timezone of your choice.
You’ll report directly to me, Richie :) (our CEO)
You’ll also work closely with our Leads: Clinical Ops Lead (Arvee Sese), Head of Growth (Dave Lane), Head of Engineering (Gzim Helshani), Sales Lead (Jordan Pellikan).
Key Responsibilities
Oversee internal operations — you’ll ensure our company is running smoothly on a tight internal operating system.
- people: you’ll help me lead a lean, high-performing team where people are doing the best work of their life.
- planning: you’ll help me run biweekly sprints & quarterly planning with clear KPIs.
- hiring: you’ll help run tight hiring processes, from role proposal through sourcing to onboarding.
- finances: you’ll help run the finance function in Fella — monthly financial reviews for frugality & cashflow, sorting payroll & paying invoices, keeping accounting boring™.
- internal OS: you’ll help me improve our company processes & underlying OS, including better decision-making & tight 1-1s.
- upskill: you’ll train our team to be better operators & fearless entropy wranglers.
- security: you’ll help me ensure tight company-wide security to avoid incidents which put at risk our patient data, our ability to practice medicine, or our ability to access our systems.
- culture: you’ll ensure our behaviors meet our standards and our standards mirror our behaviors.
- equity: you’ll work with me to ensure all team-members’ equity is calculated and allocated.
- investors: you’ll help me send investor updates and help run a fundraising process when relevant.
- legal: you’ll guide or execute necessary legal work as needed.
- pulse: you’ll ensure I stay close to on-the-ground CX concerns from fellas.
- meetings: you’ll help me run CEO-led events: All-Hands, my 1-1s, offsites, board meetings etc.
Manage CEO focus — you’ll ensure I’m doing the right thing with my time.
- calendar: you’ll ensure my calendar matches my priorities. You’ll do calendar audits and daily standups with me to sync on our joint priorities.
- calls: you’ll prep for my calls, then summarize & execute actions.
- confidant: you’ll be my closest advisor; we’ll walk in sync.
Spearhead special projects — you’ll lead what needs to be led, and help where help is needed.
- research: you’ll do market & customer research so our strategy stays agile on the frontier of the rapidly changing obesity & men’s healthcare market.
- existential: you’ll help me protect against existential risks to the company.
- long-term: you’ll help me ensure we’re moving in the right direction for continued success for the coming decade.
- products: you’ll help research & flesh out expansion products so we better serve our fellas for a decade.
- insurance: you’ll help spin up our insurance billing team and ensure things are running smoothly.
- international: you’ll help our international expansion, including leading some country expansion until we hire a country manager.
- org: you’ll help me build out new company teams as needed.
Need to Have
- Experience: you have 4+ years experience in a high-calibre, great-fit role. You do not need healthcare experience. I have a strong preference for people who understand & enjoy the scary speed of a high-growth startup.
- Systems: you think in and build out systems. In solving a problem you recognize the underlying system, then focus on improving the system itself to fix the true cause of an issue, automating where possible.
- Learning: you're an autodidact with impressive speed and resourcefulness. You regularly teach yourself the skills you need from scratch.
- Trenches: you don’t hesitate to get your hands dirty in the trenches. You’re not too pretentious to grind it out.
- Complexity: you're highly organized and can complete multiple projects concurrently.
- Mindset: you calmly handle uncertainty and rapidly changing situations.
Nice to Have
- Past: you've likely been pulled into important problems, taken risks, excelled in new areas. You've likely created something from nothing, however small.
- Future: you may want to start your own company in the future.
- Hiring: you may have experience building & managing a high-performance team.
- Figure it out: you’re likely one of those timeless people that could be dropped anywhere in the world, in any century, and you’d figure it out. Your friends probably think of you as that person :)
